The collection title, "Kashi - Assi," draws its name from the sacred city of Varanasi. "Kashi" refers to the ancient name of Banaras (Varanasi), while "Assi" denotes the final ghat—the historic stone steps that descend into the waters of the Ganges.
This collection began with an immersive journey along Varanasi's centuries-old streets, capturing the rich history and everyday traces etched directly into its walls. Translating these photographed textures and surfaces into striking fabric patterns, and utilizing nearly lost indigenous techniques—such as hand-embroidered patches and handwoven textiles local to the region—the collection visualizes the city’s living history as a wearable garment. Crafted from highly textured, hand-spun Zero Count Khadi cotton, this off-white pullover beautifully balances raw, tactile craftsmanship with a refined modern silhouette, offering a timeless addition to your wardrobe.

[特性]
つるとにて、YANTORの定番として取り揃えているカディコットンシリーズ。これまでに製作されてきた2ply や6ply のカディコットンとは異なり、太さの異なるランダムな撚糸が生地に立体感を作り出すZero Count。その意味は、手紡ぎができる最も太い番手の糸を手作業で撚るということ。また、裁断時に出る端材部分（カットオフ）の生地を重ねて貼り付けたポケットが特徴のスローメイドなプルオーバーです。
