About Pattern & Material

▫️ Technique: Kasuri (ikat) and tsumugi
Kasuri is a technique passed down widely across South, East and Southeast Asia. One of its marks is the way lines seem to run past the motif's outline, as if drawn with a pencil. Kasuri peonies fill this cloth throughout.
Peonies, blurred as if reflected on rippling water, bloom across the navy ground. The luster of the silk and its contrast lend both a chic and a refined air.
