「宝袋」の形、そして着物の模様のユニークさに魅せられ、生まれた「蓑亀と宝袋」

「宝袋（タカラブクロ）」

それは、丸っと福々しい縁起のモチーフ。

デザイナー大方が、以前より魅せられてきた伝統文様である「宝袋」の絵柄を

「実際に再現してみたい」と、そんな想いから、

デザインを試行錯誤し、ようやく形になり誕生しました。

着物地の上で、色彩豊かであったり、リズミカルに並んでいたり、多様な姿がそこにあります。

そんな何とも朗らかで喜び溢れる模様を活かし、ふっくらと愛でたくなる形の巾着が生まれました。

着物をアップサイクするという枠を超え、ヴィンテージのきものだからこそ生まれる風合いや良さを引き立てるカタチを、つるとデザイナーの大方が一からデザイン。

「蓑亀と宝袋」の巾着の多くは、表地や裏地、タグに至るまでをアップサイクルの着物地を使用しています。また、紐部分にも生地を使用したり、正絹や正絹絹紡（屑繭などを紡績した糸）を用いています。

細部にまでこだわったハンドメイドの巾着です。

"Toki-mono" — cloth unraveled, things of the season, and kimono.

We wove these layered meanings into the name Tokimono.

A project that curates a wide world of Japanese aesthetics and kimono fabrics in our own way, making new garments with kimono at their essence.
